Following a long period of discussion and contemplation, the coaches at Malpas Judokwai announced that Malpas Judokwai would close its doors for the final time and say "soremade" on Friday, 26th September 2008.

 

Our final night was both fun and emotional, a fantastic reminder of just how much Malpas Judokwai has meant to so many people over so many years.

 

We achieved so much in 29 years - our successes included Dan grades, Coaching Awards, Welsh Squad players, Refereeing awards, BSJA Awards, Mon and Kyu grades, Dragon Awards, not to mention unforgettable sponsored events, discos, parties, competitions and much more.

 

The coaches - Hazel, Idwal, Allan and Gwyneth - wish to thank

everyone who has supported Malpas Judokwai since its

first night on Friday, 7th September, 1979.
